Classroom Development Director
Meet Sara, one of our Classroom Development Directors at Riverdale! Sara holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in education from Gustavus Adolphus College. She worked for Anoka Hennepin School District for five years and has worked in childcare for nearly 30 years.
Family is important to Sara. She spends as much time with her family as possible. She is an avid reader and loves sharing literature with children. In her spare time, she is usually reading or quilting.
Sara loves making a difference in the lives of children, teaching them to be lifelong learners, and helping them discover their own talents. Sara has been married for 34 years. She has two grown sons and a daughter-in-law. One son is a Physician Assistant, and the other is a Deputy. She also has a black German Shepherd. Sara is very close to her parents, who live nearby.
